INSTRUCTOR BIO: Mike Fraietta is a leading expert in social media marketing and engagement. Mike has served as a Chief Listener and Community Manager at leading software companies, as Enterprise Community Manager for one of the world's largest media companies and as Social Business Strategist implementing 40+ online communities. Companies that Mike has advised and worked directly with include: Nike, NBC, Pepsi, Wall Street Journal, 21st Century Fox, Guardian, Star India, Covidien, Dow Jones, the Canadian Consulate General, HarperCollins and many others. Mike has served as Adjunct-Professor at NYU teaching Politics and Social Media and has also taught social media classes at General Assembly.
Fraietta is currently the Collaboration Product Manager within BNY Mellon, responsible for assisting the Workplace Team transform BNY Mellon’s internal business technologies to work as seamlessly as today's personal technologies do. His responsibilities include creating strategy for global collaboration, driving direction for digital products and developing programs to shift BNY Mellon’s work culture to the digital age.
